Welcome to my photos from my recent trip to Cumbria. I went with two friends who are also keen photographers and we stayed in Keswick and Ambleside. The first photo overlooks Derwent Water and the town of Keswick - as we climbed the hill, we had a hailstorm. A moody sky is what we needed to add drama to this majestic scenery.  The Ashness Bridge is nearby and superb in the early hours. Castlerigg stone circle is somewhat magic with its 4,500 years. Then from left to right Buttermere village, the boat house in Rydal, the pier in Keswich and also the broken pier in Keswick. Hope you enjoy those. JP
